It’s a Day (and Night) of Music, Fun, and CAMPING!

Join River Parks and hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts for a day of camping, music, hiking, biking, yoga, and more! Held at the trailhead of the acclaimed Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness, The Great Tulsa Campout offers adventures for all ages and outdoor skill levels. Events at The Great Tulsa Campout begin at 2 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2013, and end Sunday at noon, and include live music, hiking, biking, running, yoga, kid’s activities, food trucks, and more! The Great Tulsa Campout is presented by Ascent Tulsa, along with TATUR, RunnersWorld TulsaSpokehouse Bicycles, and River Parks.

Music and Food!

We’ve got more than just tents! Grab a tasty bite to eat from Andolini’s Pizza or Louie’s Dawghouse, then enjoy great outdoor music from Grazzhopper, Klondike5, and Ego Culture!

Schedule of Events

2pm – Campers can begin setting up their tents
3pm – Music and Kids Zone will be open from 3-7PM
4pm – A hiking tour by TATUR begins
5pm – Yoga and kids’ yoga, a run by RunnersWorld Tulsa, a mtb & road bike ride by Spokehouse Bicycles
6pm – Food trucks serve food, campfires are started
7pm – Grazzhopper plays on the live stage presented by Ascent Tulsa, food trucks serve from 6-8pm
8pm - Raffle in the vendor area, 1 mile Glow Hike presented by Ascent Tulsa
9pm - Klondike5 plays on the live stage presented by Ascent Tulsa
10pm – Ego Culture plays on the live stage presented by Ascent Tulsa
11pm – Quiet time begins in Base Camp

What to Bring & What Not to Bring

DO BRING: camping tents smaller than 12×12, food, beverages, propane grills, a laid-back camping attitude, garbage bags
DON’T BRING: firestarting materials (no personal campfires), stereos, illegal substances, leash-less animals, fireworks, glass containers

Online sales have ended! It’s still free to come listen to music and have a good time at the Campout…but if you would like to reserve a campsite, simply bring $30 out to Turkey Mountain beginning at 2pm today. We’ll see you at the Campout!
